Scope of Service
Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification (Form WR2)
Under the Electricity (Wiring) Regulations, owners of electrical installations must arrange for periodic inspection, testing, and certification. Non-compliance not only leads to prosecution but also increases the risk of fire and electrical faults, posing a significant danger to public safety.
For fixed electrical installations in typical residential or commercial premises with an approved loading exceeding 100A, the installation must be inspected, tested, and certified at least once every 5 years. The Periodic Test Certificate (Form WR2) must be submitted to the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) for endorsement. All related electrical works - including inspection, maintenance, and repair, must be carried out by a Registered Electrical Contractor.
Electrical Inspection
We provide comprehensive electrical inspection services using professional diagnostic instruments to measure power quality, current conditions, the effectiveness of protective devices, and Infrared Thermography for fault detection. All our testing instruments are calibrated annually by HOKLAS accredited laboratories under the Hong Kong Accreditation Service (HKAS) to ensure precision and compliance.
Electrical Works (All Scales)
We undertake various electrical installation and maintenance projects for industrial and commercial buildings. Our expertise includes the installation of main switchboards (DB/MCCB boards), power distribution circuits, lighting systems, and temporary power supply setups. Meter Application & Reconnection
